Since the late nineties, with the development of The Pinnacle, Fraser Wellon’s real estate focus in Cayman has built its foundation on satisfying the desires of an increasingly discerning luxury condominium buyer. Arguably ahead of its time, The Pinnacle created a sea change in attitude towards Seven Mile Beach condos whose primary function had previously been to create a revenue stream for owners with the personal use of the apartment almost seen as a secondary benefit.

The Pinnacle heralded a new era and brought to Cayman the next level of wealthy home owner who could, not only afford to purchase a beach front condo in the Caribbean as part of a portfolio of multiple properties but had no desire to offset the cost of ownership with income from vacation renters, in fact the greatest value was placed on privacy and exclusivity and therefore for this new level of luxury development the daily vacation rental would become a thing of the past. Subsequent to an equally successful project in Grace Bay on the Turks and Caicos island of Providenciales, which also used the auspicious Pinnacle name, Fraser’s sights returned to Seven Mile Beach around mid 2000 with the redevelopment of a rare, privately owned home and yet another level of luxury condominium was born under the name Waters Edge.

Adjacent to The Pinnacle on its north side is Plantana and to the south is Governor's public beach the Governor's House, beyond which is Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa hotel and then Villas of the Galleon.
