Taxes
There is no direct tax on the Cayman Islands. No Income Tax, Company of Corporate Tax, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gain, or Gift Tax.
There is no Property Tax, nor is there any control of foreign ownership of land. There is a 5% stamp duty on the value of real estate at sale; as well as a 1% fee payable on mortgages under $300,000, and 1.5% for mortgages over $300,000.
