Tennis
The Cayman Islands tennis club is not only a get location to play tennis but also a great place to meet people with common interests. It is located in South Sound next to the Rugby club.
This tennis club organizes monthly singles tournaments, where you can play against people within your experience level, as well as quarterly men’s, women’s and mixed doubles tournaments.
Every Tuesday you can come out and play on Club Night, where a group of people gather and play mixed doubles all evening long. Every game you get paired up with a new partner and you play a different couple. On the first Tuesday of every month, while playing, you can enjoy a refreshing Margarita made and delivered to you on the court by the resident Club Manager Rob Seward.
If you think you need lessons, there are private sessions for 1 or 2 people, or group sessions for groups of 2-6. Lessons can be taken with either the Club Manager or the Head Pro Eduardo Torres.
There are different day camps available for children of all ages and experience levels. Call the club for more details at 949.9464 or visit them online at www.tennis.ky.
Squash
The Cayman Islands Squash Club was established in 1976 and currently has over 300 members. There is an active monthly league system, several club and inter-island tournaments, and a lively social calendar.
The club is fully air-conditioned, with 7 international (including 2 coloured) courts.
The bar & TV lounge (with a full sports package) now offers total relaxation following your tough match, or for those spectators wishing to just sit in comfort, they also have wireless internet for those with their own laptop.
An extensive gallery overlooks the courts and allows for easy viewing of both casual play and tournament events.
Courts may be booked from 7 AM until 11 PM Monday through Saturday, and until 10 PM on Sunday.
