Beaches
The beaches on Grand Cayman are some of the finest beaches in the world. Calm, tranquil waters and superfine white sandy beach stretch for miles. You can enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon of tanning in the sun or sitting under an umbrella sipping on a frozen drink.
There is no shortage of activities along Seven Mile Beach. There are different water sport rental companies located directly on the beach that allow you to rent wave runners, kayaks, snorkels, fins, and if you're feeling adventurous, parasailing is also available.
If you are looking for something off the beaten path, you can take a drive to East End, Rum Point or Cayman Kai, where the beaches are just as spectacular and untouched. Because none of the beaches in Cayman are privately owned, the options are endless. Although you might have to find a beach access path, you will not be trespassing through someone's property to find the beach.
Rum Point is a great beach with a resort feel and is also operated by the Hyatt. They have beach chairs, volleyball, and different water sports you can rent. They have a great restaurant and bar where you can have a nice relaxing lunch under the sun or in the shade of the trees.
