The Cayman Islands property market enjoys a bountiful selection of luxury condominiums giving buyers an opportunity to purchase their own slice of luxury Caribbean real estate paradise. The vast majority of luxury condos for sale in the Cayman Islands are to be found along Seven Mile Beach, which is one of the finest stretches of beach in the Caribbean. Seven Mile Beach offers beautiful powder white sand gently caressed by the warm crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, lined with palm trees and making a reality of what is for most the quintessential Caribbean dream. Running at around one hundred thousand United States dollars a front foot, Seven Mile Beach represents some of the most expensive beach front anywhere in the Caribbean and this opulence is reflected in the luxurious condominiums that have been developed along the beach in recent years. The luxury condos here offer a beach resort lifestyle, the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is the finest resort hotel along Seven Mile Beach but also offers a good selection of Ritz-Carlton Residences for sale and vacation rentals. The Caribbean Club, although not strictly a hotel, offers luxurious accommodation and with Luca its onsite Italian restaurant, has a resort like feel. Caribbean Club is not part of a hotel chain and is made up of private luxury condos some of which are put into the rental pool by their owners who derive income from vacation holiday rentals. Most of the luxury condos along Seven Mile Beach have some level of onsite management and many of them offer daily or weekly rentals, there are a few including the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Residences and Water’s Edge which allow a minimum one month rental and some complexes such as the Great House that do not allow any type of short term holiday rental.
Since the purchase of the old Seaview hotel site in 2005 and its subsequent redevelopment Grand Cayman has seen three luxury condominium developments off Seven Mile Beach on the water front east of George Town on South Church Street. Seaview retained the name of the hotel it superseded and redeveloped as a contemporary eighteen apartment complex with a modern style of architecture previously unseen in Cayman
